Aaron Ufberg, DMD
A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Aaron Ufberg earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Ufberg completed a residency at Allegheny University Hospital where he gained valuable experience and worked with experts in several fields of Dentistry. He began Ufberg Dental a few years later and has been gratified by its continuous growth. An integral element of his care is the concern which he manifests for his patients.
Dr. Ufberg maintains a full time practice in which he emphasizes Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. He has lectured within the Philadelphia area on subjects such as Implants, General, and Cosmetic Dentistry. He is active in several local dental study clubs, is an active member of the Academy of Stomatology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and was privileged with an invitation to join the prestigious Greater Philadelphia Dental Seminars.
Dr. Ufberg is highly interested in continuing dental education in order to expand his professional knowledge and continues to learn all he can about the ever evolving world of Dentistry. He has been certified and trained in such techniques as the CERINATE No-Drilling Veneers, Invislaign Zoom! Teeth Bleaching, Vizilite Oral Cancer Screening, Camlog Implant Surgical Placement and Restoration, LVI Endodontics, and other Cosmetic and Implant procedures.
Locally, Dr. Ufberg is a member of the Devon Berwyn Business Association, the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of its Leadership Training Institute. He has also completed the Leadership Training course of the ADL. He lives in the Main Line area with his wife, Janie, their two sons, Jesse and Noah, and their daughter Alana. He spends much of his spare time with his family, playing guitar, drums and piano, reading and exercising.
Douglas Vallinino, DMD
Dr. Douglas Vallinino has been practicing dentistry since 1991, after earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University Dental School. Before attending dental school, Dr. Vallinino received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University, and worked for a pharmaceutical manufacturer. Although he quickly rose through the ranks to Plant Manager, he realized his calling was better aligned with helping patients than optimizing equipment! It was then he decided to pursue a career in dentistry.
After graduating from dental school with honors and ranking seventh in his class, Dr. Vallinino entered into practice with his father-in-law, Dr. John Conti of Wayne. In 2000, Dr. Vallinino assumed ownership of the practice, where he remained until January 2017 when he joined the team at Ufberg Dental. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Vallinino teaches Clinical Dentistry at Temple University Dental School. He especially enjoys the opportunity to mentor undergraduate, as well as graduate dental students in all aspects of clinical and patient care, and imparting his knowledge and experience of day-to-day practice management. Dr. Vallinino has been recognized by Suburban Publications as Reader’s Choice Best Dentist on numerous occasions, and has been named a Top Dentist in Main Line Today for many years.
When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys reading, playing the piano, and hiking (usually because his wife makes him do this!). If he’s totally honest, his two favorite activities involve eating or talking about food. Originally from Hackensack, New Jersey, Dr. Vallinino has lived in the suburban Philadelphia area since 1987. He is married to Camille, and has a son, Jordan, who attends Northeastern University in Boston.
Elaine – Office Manager
Hi Everyone! My name is Elaine. My husband and I moved here from Northern New Jersey in 2009. I have worked on the administrative side of healthcare for over 25 years in Oral Surgery, Periodontal, Cosmetic and General Dentistry offices. I am a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
My goal in Dr. Ufberg’s office is to welcome every client by listening to his or her dental and financial concerns, offering a clear treatment plan, payment options and providing exemplary customer service.
My free time is spent with my husband, Frank, and our three dogs, Beau, Honey & Checkers. We enjoy exploring the area, going to auctions, and building our sports memorabilia business. I look forward to meeting you.
Sasha – Registered Dental Hygienist
Sasha started working in a dental office the summer she graduated from high school. As a dental assistant, she learned a lot about the dental profession and decided to pursue a degree in dental hygiene. Sasha graduated from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA. in 1998, upon which she was awarded the only Hu-Friedy “Golden Scaler Award” of her class. She joined Ufberg Dental, P.C. in 2001 and is still treating many of the same patients today. Sasha is dedicated to helping each patient achieve a healthy, happy mouth.
When she is not working, Sasha likes to spend time with family and friends. She enjoys shopping, reading a good book, working out and going to the beach in the summer. Sasha and her husband, Ken, and their son, Brody, live an active and healthy lifestyle. They are expecting their first child in May 2014.
Jocelyn – Registered Dental Hygienist
Having the opportunity to help create and maintain beautiful smiles and improve the health of patients is what originally attracted Jocelyn to Dental Hygiene. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at Montgomery County Community College where she obtained her license for dental hygiene as well as local anesthesia injection. Her main goal is to provide excellent hygiene services as well as a comfortable, enjoyable experience for each and every patient she treats. Jocelyn’s passion for educating people about oral health and connecting with patients is what drives her as a hygienist.
When Jocelyn is not treating patients she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and fiancé. She likes to take her three dogs to the park and spend weekends at the shore.
